David Shillinglaw – ‘kingless kingdom’

ds_kk_crop2-copywe were very pleased to be called upon once again by David Shillinglaw and Cement Gallery to create an edition of prints to accompany his “All You’ll Ever Need” show which opened on the 25th August at the East Gallery Brick Lane

the print ‘kingless kingdom’ was a one colour job on Fabriano Accedemia 220gsm paper, edition of 100, 500 x 700 mm, as ever with David’s work the key was all about keeping the very fine hair-line detail of the original drawing…

shots from the opening night of his show…

if you missed the opening- all is not lost, the show stays open until the 4th September, the gallery opens late on Thursday the 1st. If you can’t get to the gallery check out the mural that David did on Bacon Street around the corner from the gallery

and if you can’t get to see that, why not pick up a print for yourself (while stocks last)- grab one from Cement Gallery
